This a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Direct Marketing Officer to be responsible for the project development of all donor development and acquisition activities; including digital activity, appeals, newsletters, telemarketing, annual thank you across all channels (mail, online, social media)as well as Legacy Marketing activities for a National recognised heath charity.

To contribute to the development and implementation of the individual giving operational plans and budgets.
To be responsible for the project development of all donor development and acquisition activities; including digital activity, appeals, newsletters, telemarketing, annual thank you across all channels (mail, online, social media) and gift aid mailings.
To be responsible for the project development of the new legacy marketing strategy and associated legacy marketing materials and activity.
To be supervised by the Direct Marketing Manager and work closely with the Donor Support Officer, Database Manager and Database Officer to ensure that comprehensive supporter journeys are in place for all supporters.
To support the development of the middle donor strategy led by HOD and develop the associated marketing activity.
Awareness of budget management techniques and reporting skills
The successful candidate will have experience of producing data selection briefs, creative briefs and managing external suppliers. The role is a wide and varied one which will include developing digital aspects to enhance response.
Minimum two years of managing direct marketing campaigns in a charity environment (ideally some legacy experience but not essential)
Experience of managing external agencies and suppliers (creative agencies, telemarketing agencies, copywriters, Professional Fundraising agencies, media buying)
Experience of working within the various codes of practice and legal requirements applicable to Direct Marketing and individual giving (GDPR, I.o.F Codes of practice, PFRA, Lotteries and Gaming Act)
