The charity has recently undergone a brand refresh and will be launching their new website soon. This, along a new fundraising strategy makes it an incredibly exciting time to join the charity in helping them achieve their mission of a world without barriers for every deaf child.
To lead on and be responsible for the implementation and delivery of an ambitious corporate and major donor fundraising strategy in order to maximise net income.
Research and identify new funding opportunities, relationships and partnerships in order to create and develop a robust corporate and major donor pipeline to become a sustainable long-term source of income for the charity.
Work closely with the Head of Relationship and Partnership Fundraising to develop and agree strategies for funding from high net worth individuals and corporate donors.
Cultivate lasting and effective relationships between the charity and high net worth individual supporters and corporates, to maximise long term profit.
Solicit and secure significant funding from new and existing high net worth individuals and corporate partners.
Manage National the charitys payroll giving supporters and advertising in the charitys publications. Develop and implement approaches which increase income from these areas.
Experience of creating, developing and managing successful corporate fundraising and major donor budgets and strategies.
Demonstrate experience of relationship and partnership management including proven experience of growing and developing accounts.
Proven ability of the development and delivery of ambitious income budgets (as well as managing expenditure budgets) and recruiting new corporate and major donor relationships and partnerships.
Demonstrable success at securing 5 figure gifts via long-term profitable relationships with high net worth individuals or corporates or equivalent, transferable skills from a business background.
Exceptional face to face interpersonal negotiating and persuasive skills, matched with a sensitive diplomatic approach.
Demonstrable success of new business wins as the culmination of a concerted campaign.
Experience and knowledge of prospect pools, trends in giving, prospect research, solicitation, cultivation and stewardship.
