In this new position due to the growth of this ambitious Events fundraising team, you will have the opportunity to manage a portfolio events including continuing to grow and enhance the organisations flagship event. This is a key role for income generation and raising awareness of the charitys services.
This is an exciting time to join a growing and vibrant charity that supports local people living with cancer who are seeking someone who is enthusiastic, dedicated and ambitious to join their fundraising team.
The role will be focussed on developing the potential to grow existing events, while working with the Corporate and Events Manager to launch new events.
You will deliver excellent supporter care and stewardship of participants and potential participants across allocated event programme, increasing conversion rates, cross-selling, up-selling and repeat participation levels.
The successful candidate will be a passionate and pro-active event professional with a track record of managing a portfolio of either fundraising or commercial events.
You will have experience of the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of a portfolio of events and campaigns and have an understanding of budgets and an ability to maintain income and expenditure trackers.
