We are recruiting for a temporary Trust Fundraiser for a high profile social welfare charity , immediate start !

The Role
To prepare an annual rolling three year plan and budget to develop grant income.
To implement that plan, managing influential volunteers and senior staff to achieve that objective.
To meet income and expenditure targets agreed with your line Manager.
To identify, research and approach national and international trusts and foundations, and other grant making bodies, who have the potential to donate towards the work of the charity.
To develop and manage a portfolio of high value relationships with major Trusts and / or Statutory funders that provide substantial financial support for the work of the charity.
To lead on the development of large and complex funding proposals to major funders involving liaison with senior managers, both internally and externally, as well as the drafting of high quality targeted applications to meet funders requirements for project outcomes, budgets and monitoring/reporting procedures.
To provide stewardship of funds secured, managing large and complex grants, developing and implementing necessary strategies with the Operations Division to ensure sustainability of relationships with high value funders.
To work closely and pro-actively with the Operations team to identify new projects, obtain project information and budgets and to ensure a continuous flow of fundraising projects coming forward.


The Candidate
Demonstrable experience of grant fundraising from charitable trusts
Experience of fundraising of from Non-Statutory Sources (e.g. The Big Lottery, MOD Libor etc)
Demonstrable experience of writing proposals or business plans
Demonstrable project management experience
Experience of report writing Experience of managing budgets
Proven ability to undertake effective prospect and market research
