This award winning community-based hospice service provides care and support for babies, children and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and their families.
Work closely with the Major Donor Manager and Assistant Director of Income Generation to manage and develop the Major Giving Teams donor pipeline, work on high-value events including the annual Gala Dinner which last year raised 500,000.
Work closely with the Corporate Partnerships Manager to build on existing relationships, produce excellent research on potential partners and win new business opportunities.
Maximise income from major donors, primarily through the charitys annual Gala Dinner and ongoing networking.
Establish and maintain systematic and rigorous processes around planning, execution and follow-up for the Gala Dinner.
Work with relevant team members to identify and implement new income opportunities from major donors and some corporate partners.
Build on and manage existing relationships with supporters.
Exceptional spoken and written use of English language with the ability to convey relevant detail clearly and concisely.
Experience of establishing and managing effective external relationships.
Exceptional time management and organisational skills.
Ability to think laterally to tailor communications to create personal connections with prospective and current supporters.
Empathy with the work undertaken by the hospice.
