We have an amazing opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to work with the Regional Fundraising team in Salford at a leading national health charity.

The Charity:

One of the UK's leading health charities is targeting a large increase in income so they can expand the life saving research and support they offer. They provide specialist support, fund critical research and campaign to make sure people affected, get the very best care and support to rebuild their lives.

The Role:
To implement a variety of fundraising initiatives from which to generate income.

This will include traditional community fundraising activity (community groups, regional corporates, in memory giving), supporting fundraising events and recruiting fundraisers for third party events.

To develop a network of contacts and key supporters within the region who will support fundraising events/activities.

To work with the Community and Events manager to achieve Gross and Net income budgets for your areas of responsibility

To maintain the database for the fundraising team in the region.

To act as an ambassador to promote fundraising for the charity. This may be by delivering presentations, arranging displays and organising information stands.

To work collaboratively with the other charity departments to ensure that fundraising opportunities are maximised within your area of responsibility.

The Candidate:
Experience of undertaking and initiating fundraising activities and events

Ability to proficiently use industry standard IT systems (e.g. Microsoft Office, Email, PowerPoint, Internet, etc.) to a basic level

Good level of general education with standard qualification passes or relevant demonstrable industry experience

Experience of and competent in preparing and delivering presentations

Experience of working with community groups and regional corporate organisations

Experience of managing volunteers

Use of a car and full driving license
