An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Regional Fundraiser based in Leeds/Sheffield (home based) to maximise community fundraising for one of the UKs leading health charities.

The Charity
One of the UKs leading health charities who do life saving research. They provide specialist support, fund critical research and campaign to make sure people affected, get the very best care and support to rebuild their lives.

The Role
To proactively generate income from a variety of fundraising initiatives. This will include supporter led fundraising activity (community groups,regional corporates, in memory giving, third party
events) and fundraising events.
To event manage and deliver income from key events such as Runs according to regional and departmental need.
Develop, recruit and retain a proactive network of supporters and volunteers to deliver and support fundraising activity.
To work with your Regional Fundraising Manager to achieve Gross and Net income budgets for your areas of responsibility.
To work collaboratively with the strategic Heads of within Regional Fundraising and with other charity departments to ensure that fundraising opportunities are maximised within your area of
responsibility.
To ensure that Relationship Database is updated and maintained appropriately by the fundraising team in the region.

The Candidate
Experience of undertaking and initiating fundraising activities and events.
Experience of and competent in preparing and delivering presentations.
Experience of working with community groups and regional corporate organisations.
Experience of managing volunteers.
Ability to proficiently use industry standard IT systems (e.g. Microsoft Office, Email, PowerPoint, Internet, etc.) to a basic level.
