An exciting opportunity to be a key member of the Fundraising Team and develop and implement the community fundraising strategy ensuring growth in the level of income raised for this beloved charity.

The Charity
Support children and their families in London to lead as positive and happy a life as possible when dealing with a life-limiting health condition. They support over 300 families, providing services including respite and end of life care, family support and therapies.

The Role
Develop, implement and manage the community fundraising strategy and the associated income and expenditure budgets, ensuring that all budget lines are achieved.
Research and identify prospective new community fundraising opportunities and activities, making connections with local councils and other NGOs.
Work in conjunction with the Communications Team to ensure strategic marketing and communication plans are created to promote community fundraising activity effectively.
Develop and implement a strategy for schools, organising minimum 20 talks per year with associated donation ask and achieving fundraising of 500 per school.
Work with the Head of Community and Events to create engaging fundraising products and marketing materials which inspire our audiences to support us.

The Candidate
Previous experience in Fundraising, preferably Community Fundraising.
IT skills experience of MS Office, particularly Word and Excel.
Excellent telephone manner and written English.
Excellent organisational skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, as the task requires.
