In this varied and rewarding role you will generate income from developing new corporate partnerships with companies within Canary Wharf, Docklands and The City of London for this inspirational charity. this is a 12 month Maternity cover !

The Charity
Support children and their families in London to lead as positive and happy a life as possible when dealing with a life-limiting health condition.

The Role
Work closely with the Head of Corporate Engagement and Partnerships and the corporate partnerships team to develop and grow corporate and high-net-worth income.
Identify, approach and build relationships with prospective supporters through appropriate research and the development of referrals and networking of existing and lapsed corporate partners.
Develop tailored, innovative and exciting fundraising approaches and proposals for individual corporate partners in line with organisations CSR requirements and strategic objectives.
Look for opportunities to develop new kinds of partnerships, such as commercial, strategic and sponsorship.
Ensure that all existing and prospective partners are kept informed of the work and achievements of the Charity through presentations, newsletters, updates, telephone calls and invitations to events.
Update all new business activity, changes in personnel, location or account details relating to corporate supporters on Raisers Edge database to ensure data integrity.
Assist with the training and development of the Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser and any other corporate team members.
Work with the wider fundraising team to support the development and implementation of a communications and engagement programme to ensure active involvement from corporate partner employees.

The Candidate
Proven experience of fundraising, marketing or sales. Proven experience of generating new business in either a commercial or fundraising environment.
Experience of developing promotional or fundraising materials, including writing copy and completing design briefs.
Experience of account management.
Knowledge of the voluntary sector.
IT skills. (including Microsoft Office)
Research and evaluation skills.
